I have all but Nothing But Loving You, and I have to say that Erica Sakurazawa is probably the best manga-ka I've ever found. I first read between the sheets, because it was recommended to me by another website. I now have 5 that were released in America, and read a scan-lation of Love Vibes. As an aspiring comic artist, I'm constantly inspired by her pacing, her dialogue, and her characters. The books will make you cry, no doubt about it. They aren't happy stories, but they aren't really tragic either.

What every happened to the "Manga After Dark" line? It looks like Tokyopop gave up on this idea in favor of Disney Cinemanga. I enjoyed the Sakurzawa books, but was hoping they would continue the line with more authors. Ponent Mon had a couple of books that would have fit well in this series.

Tokyopop never really promoted is series very well. I would have like to see them get behind this concept and this author and give both the time and attention they deserve.

I wonder if we'll ever see any more of her work over here in the States? I really enjoyed it, and hope someone releases her newer work. (if there is any, I'm not sure if there is)

I REALLY like these books, especially "Between The Sheets", because is was so everyday and real. Sakurzawa's art is a fresh breath as well, pulled from her fashion illustration background, it provides a nice alternative to the more wild, stylized shojo stuff out there. The other books were OK, but I say "Between The Sheets" is definitely worth a look. Kind of a "Optic Nerve" meets shojo thing!

They've had a couple of Sakurazawa’s books on sale in my local shop for a while, now. I'd passed on them, thinking that they were bargain basement shojo. Guess I'll give 'em another go!
