During Wizard World LA, Kevin McShane will be doing a staged reading of his comic Toupydoops.

Toupydoops Live! combines McShane’s artwork with sound effects, music, and live voice actors to bring the first issue of Toupydoops to life for a live audience.

That’s a terrific choice, given its subject. The premise is “what if comics worked like Hollywood, and aspiring comic book characters auditioned for appearance in books?” This event continues the theme by bringing comics and Hollywood live action closer together.
