I read this book around Christmas of 2004, shortly after it came out… and it blew me away. I bought it for two reasons:
- I’m a fan of the creators;
- it was on sale at Barnes & Noble
I’m not – and will probably never be – a Superman fan… which means any book about this hero I’ll buy will have to be brilliant. I read “It’s a Bird” and “Secret Identity” within weeks of each other… and can’t decide which one I like better. I find it amazing and uplifting that there people out there who can create superhero stories about heroes I don’t care for… but that still rank among my all-time favorite comics.
