What a great book! Yes, i read it to my son but I like it myself! Fun to see the Hulk be in a team, having banner be somewhat in control, or put out of control by his teammates!
And Giant Girl! Love her!!!!

Thanks for the heads-up, Johanna. I got the last copy of this issue at my comic store today, and I enjoyed the story as much as you did. Like Martin Gray, I may start picking up some other Marvel Adventures titles . . .

Nice review, I agree that this was a fab comic - the first Marvel Adventures I've read. I must track down some more.

You're not the first long-time reader to prefer the kiddie versions, but this is the first one to hook me, too. I've often wondered why Storm and other characters can't make it into the Avengers if Wolverine and Spidey can, and this was an amusing, very well-drawn story. I may be subbing this title, even though I also still read the awful mainstream one.

I loved this as well and enjoy the other Marvel Adventures titles. My son and I both read them and they have gotten him drawing all the time, which is absolutely great. I appreciate that the titles stay in the family friendly range without talking down ala Superfriends. Big thumbs up.

I agree with you about the "kiddy" titles featuring some darn good super-hero comics. Parker's Fantastic Four is pretty good too, and I also like Adam Beechan's JLU. Of course, the gold standard was when Ty Templeton was writing the Batman Adventures comic.
