He should have done Maggie as Shrinking Violet, Mrs. Krabapple as Saturn Girl, Lisa as Dream Girl, Santa's Little Helper as Krypto, Snowball as Streaky, and of course, Marge as Night Girl. I would have done the Captain as RJ Brande.

By the way, check out the comments in my page (linked at the "via" in Johanna's post), there are more links to Simpsons/Legion mashups.

I was thinking he was Color Kid, which is one of the odder choices to me... though he'd be the only Sub represented.

I stared at Bumblebee Man for a long while until it clicked and I went "that's cool!" But who's the squinty Captain supposed to be? I like the rainbow shirt. :)

The Legion of Simpsons Heroes

About a year and a half ago I wrote what I thought was a pretty clever post comparing the Legion of Super-Heroes to Futurama.
Don’t look at me like that. Both are futuristic and have a cast of thousands. It works.
Well, I’m not the only...

Sideshow Bob took me a minute, but that's Karate Kid, and Wildfire is Bart's comic hero Radioactive Man. Good eye, that's Lenny in the group shot behind Homer/Lightning Lad, but I can't tell who it might be with a black shirt - looks like he's got a headband, so maybe Invisible Kid's SW6 costume?

I can name all the figures, all the paints, and I take issue with some of the characterizations.

I'm close, can't figure out Wildfire or Sideshow Bob, though I have a guess on both. Do I see Lenny in the background, but not in a solo shot?

More geekily, my "underrepresentation of women" button is being pushed (though, honestly, considering the choice for Lightning Lad there was no way Saturn Girl couldn't either irk me or creep me out).

Seriously, tho, there's some great work done there. Though, as with the PVC set, many of my favorites Legionaires are missing.
