Magazines Turn to Superheroes

Magazine sales are down, and so are sales of advertisements within them, so “the Magazine Publishers of America, a trade group, is fighting back by transforming magazines into promotional superheroes…. [A]n actor dressed as [Captain Read] will storm 10 media buying and planning agencies next week in New York, handing out fact sheets, magazine handbooks, and red M&M candy.” Does this mean superheroes are way too trendy these days?

    I wonder if Jane’s advertisers pulling out has something to do with the new editor? I mean, how can it be “Jane” without JANE as the editor? Shouldn’t it be “Brandon” now?
