Steve: I think this photo records the first time you and I met! Glad we’ve been able to run into each other somewhat frequently over the years!

If that didn’t work to distract Waid, we had the “wave the Rob Liefeld Captain America issues at him to distract him” plan. I don’t think that worked either. I think he and Devin Grayson were an item then.

In your 1995 con report, you mentioned us going to that BBQ place across the street for dinner. We tried to do it again the next year but we couldn’t arrange it. In 1996 you wore your cheerleader outfit to the pro/fan trivia contest to psyche Mark Waid out, remember? :) (Here’s my con report, I couldn’t find yours.) That was also the year of Steve and Elayne’s big party at the Clarion.

No, I don’t think any pictures exist of Johanna in her cheerleader’s outfit. Shrinking Violet, yes, but not a cheerleader.
