Baltimore Comic-Con Announces Programming Schedule

BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Comic-Con is proud to announce their programming schedule for the show this weekend.
Highlights include panels focusing on Guest of Honor Jerry Robinson, John Romita Sr. and Jr., and Titans Together George Pérez and Marv Wolfman. A group gathering tackles the topic of Collaboration (with George Pérez, Mark Waid, Kurt Busiek, Barry Kitson, Mike Wieringo and Todd DeZago), and a Moment with Howard Chaykin features additional guests Frank Cho, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Walter Simonson.
DC Comics is hosting three panels, one each on the DC Nation, DCU: One Year Greater, and Vertigo/WildStorm. Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada will anchor his Cup O’ Joe, and the Marvel Trivia Contest promises Prize or No Prize. Individual creator spotlights include Walter Simonson, David Lloyd, Olivier Coipel, and Paul Pope.

The two-day Baltimore Comic-Con runs 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday at the Baltimore Convention Center. Tickets are available at the door or from Ticketmaster at the convention website.

I so hope to make it back next year. Getting to meet Busiek in person (a silly goal to many of the folks, I’m sure) is on my short list.

Not so silly — he’s one of the nicest, most interesting convention guests I’ve talked to.
