Coming Up: Love & Capes #2

Just in time for Christmas, another issue of Thom Zahler’s Love and Capes is promised.
As suits the release plan, the premise is holiday-themed: “What do you get your girlfriend… when she knows you can crush coal into diamonds? And what does she get you?” The first four pages are available as a preview.
I’m looking forward to this, since I really enjoyed the first issue, due to its blend of capes and comedy.
Issue #2 can be pre-ordered now from your local comic retailer. It’s Diamond code OCT06 3553, Maerkle Press, $3.95 US.

Cool! I loved the first issue of this as it was just so… charmingly fun? So I will defintely order this from DCBS, thanks, this makes up for no recommendation last month!:) (or did you and I missed them?)

I ran out of time last month, so I didn’t post.
This month, I’m not likely to, either. It’s a sparse month, since lots of publishers pumped out the holiday glut last month. More importantly, so much of my reading these days is book-format comics… and it’s easier just to see what those look like when they come out instead of having to preorder.

Yeah that’s me too, a lot of times you remind me when a trade of a series I’m interested in comes out. I just don’t pour over all the listings like I used to.
