Ok, I’m drinking while waiting for the neighborhood kiddies to come get their Halloween chocolate and comics, but that seemed REALLY funny to me.

Hey! I drank, too (Pumpkin Ale), while handing out loot. (In my case, Play-Doh, which was a HUGE hit!)

What a great idea to hand out!
I was happy to hear one of the kids, as they navigated their way back down the steps, say “cool! this is the house with the comics!” I’m glad they liked them.

HI Johanna,
My local comics shop actually gave out comics this year for Halloween.
I thought you’d be interested because one of them was Tales from… Riverdale, a ‘Halloween Horror’ story featuring Archie & his friends. My two year old has mangled her copy already, but if you are interested, I’m sure he has a few left over.
Let me know, and I’ll try to get you one.

We also got a copy of the Death Jr Halloween Special which looks cute, but we haven’t read it yet either.
I am impressed with the owner of my comic shop, FunnyBooks, for giving out the comics, and always doing his best to be an active member of the community.
A lot of comic shop owners could follow his lead. He gets a lot of non-comics people to at least check out his store just by being friendly! Imagine that. :0)
