Who Wants to Be a Superhero? aired last August. As part of the prize, Dark Horse was going to put out a comic book starring the winner and written by Stan Lee. That comic book was announced at San Diego as due in October 2006, then it was pushed back to January 2007, and now …

Lisa at Neptune Comics reports that Dark Horse will be holding the comic until the second season of the TV show comes out later this summer. It makes sense, given the excessive delay and subsequent loss of any excitement. Given the media properties (including Lee) involved, I suppose it’s not surprising that the project couldn’t come together in time.
