Young Bottoms in Love in Print

The long-running webcomic Young Bottoms in Love will be publishing selections in a print anthology due May 2007. From the press release:

The print release of YOUNG BOTTOMS IN LOVE offers a select anthology of the online series and several print exclusives as well. Created in August 2002 by the very versatile cartoonist and editor, Tim Fish, the online daily comic has examined gay romance from nearly every angle. Dozens of creators–gay and straight, amateur and professional–have contributed their many talents to the strip over time, expressing themselves in all manner of styles from the familiar to the abstract, from the humorous to the grave.

The print compilation includes work from:

Paige Braddock (Eisner nominee, JANE’S WORLD)
Howard Cruse (Eisner winner, STUCK RUBBER BABY)
Adam DeKraker (SUPERGIRL)
Abby Denson (TOUGH LOVE)
Michael DiMotta (INSTINCT Magazine)
Tim Fish (CAVALCADE OF BOYS)
David Kelley (Xeric awardee, STEVEN’S COMICS, BOY TROUBLE)
Robert Kirby (Xeric awardee, CURBSIDE, BOY TROUBLE)
Jack Lawrence (LIONS, TIGERS AND BEARS)
Dave Roman (TEEN BOAT)
Steven Sadowski (JSA)
Jen Van Meter (HOPELESS SAVAGES)

Proceeds from this book project will be generously donated to worthy gay advocacy groups, such as Human Rights Campaign, Trevor Project, and Prism Comics.

The book will be a 368 page full color anthology with a street date of May 2, 2007, and will retail for $22.

That’s a pretty impressive list of contributors and worth seeking out for that alone.
