He's a really great guy, and very deserving of the accolades he gets for SPEED BUMP. It's interesting to talk with him about comics, as he's a fellow cartoonist, he's still on the fringe of the "comic book world" in a way, and can view stuff like manga from somewhat of an outsider's perspective. We're so immersed in it that we just assume everyone else is as well, so it's always been fun to have conversations with fellow artists who DON'T live and breathe the mainstream comic lexicon.
