I’ve heard reactions to Drowsy Chaperone to be hit or miss, but we thoroughly enjoyed it when we saw it last summer. At one point the somewhat dim male ingenue roller-skates blindfolded–what’s not to love?

Since you liked The Drowsy Chaperone you should check out Slings and Arrows, a Canadian TV show that takes place behind the scenes of a Shakespearen theatre company. It was created by the writers of The Drowsy Chaperone and Mark McKinney (Kinds in the Hall and now Studio 60). It’s in its third season on Sundance Channel and I believe the first two seasons are available on DVD.

Glad you enjoyed Blue Fine – I’ve eaten there only during Restaurant Week, where most restaurants can be hit or miss and they were one and one in my experience. Sounds like you had a hit, which is great.

Enjoy the rest of your stay in the city – I won’t be attending Comic Con, as I have babysitting duties, but I’m sure we’ll get a good roundup from you.
