A New Jersey organization to prevent child abuse has made it possible to order a free 16-page Spider-Man comic in which
The Amazing Spider-Man and The Brace, the new villain in town, discover that they share a past as victims of the same school bullies. They come to understand that a witness who spoke out against Spider-Man’s humiliation helped set the future Super Hero on a path of helping others, while The Brace, who had no ally, became a bully himself.

I just hope this story follows the continuity established in this earlier Spidey comic the organization did in 2004 (http://www.preventchildabusenj.org/documents/media/Spider-Man.pdf) .
I am so kidding.
In all seriousness, any books like this, where parents, counselors and teachers can see a comic book directly helping a child goes a long way in helping the industry image, IMO.
Now where’s my grief counseling comic to help me through Cap’s “death”? :)
Oh, I guess Jeff Parker’s Marvel Adventures: Avengers work is good solace in my dark hour.
