I'm not in charge of ordering or dealing with shipping mistakes/issues, and I'm not sure if the person who is has done so or not. My "What gives?" was more of a query to see if any other readers had more information, not a complaint against Abrams. Until I saw Ray's post, I had honestly assumed the DVD had just been left out of our shipment by Diamond. Honestly, I don’t know. I had actually been lamenting for a while my inability to find the original issues in my collection, because the work is just gorgeous. I love the film, but I have little hope that the DVD in the package will remotely compare to the awesome two-disc Criterion set already available. You should really check this out, Johanna.
