For some unknown reason, Amazon has doubled the discount on two of the Complete Peanuts volumes from its usual 34% to 70% off. That means you can get the third book, 1955-1956, and the sixth, 1961-1962, for $8.69 apiece. While they last!

Ivan Brunetti’s anthology of modern comics is also at about that price right now — it’s a substantial, well-produced volume. if you liked the McSweeney’s or Best American Comics volumes that recently came out, this is right in that same vein. A beautiful book for less than $9

You mean this one? An Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Cartoons, and True Stories is showing for me at $13. Ah, the wisdom of Amazon and its mysterious pricing strategies.

yes, that one — I just got my order and it was 8.64 — and I’m pretty sure that when I looked at it just monday it was still that price. Hmmm. By the way, it’s a very solid, well-produced book and worth the $13 — that’s still half-price.
