The 2007 Eisner Awards ballots are now arriving at industry professional addresses. Comic writers, artists, publishers, and editors; distributor managers (aka professional employees of Diamond and Cold Cut); and retail store owners and managers are eligible to vote. They can select from the judges’ choices or write in their own — and given the new inclusion of online venues in the “Best Comic-Related Periodical/Journalism” category, that’s led some sites to already start humorously grubbing for votes.

I believe the San Diego Con builds its mailing list based on which people have registered to attend the event in this and past years. I don’t know how you request ballots if eligible other than emailing Jackie Estrada, the award administrator.

Oh, I forgot to say earlier: ballots are due back by June 8.
