In correction to my earlier post, Mike Phillips, Editor-in-Chief of Sequart, writes to correct me:

Our main news writer at Sequart.org right now is female. J-R Cannarella has been with us for roughly 2 months. Before her, we had a female news writer named Amy Dean (who only stayed on for about 6 months, but still…).

We’re even trying to get a female perspective column off the ground. It’s called Few and Far Between.
