Two Fun Upcoming DVD Sets

July 24: The Secrets of Isis: Complete Series. 22 episodes, $29.98, 3 DVDs, plus the extras BCI is known for. High points:

“As a character, Isis herself was revolutionary: she was the first live-action female super-heroine on Saturday mornings.”

“This release will be supported with a print campaign and internet exposure including viral video and targeted advertising, including special distribution at Comic-Con 2007.” Anyone want to get me one?

September 18: Josie and the Pussycats: Complete Series. 16 episodes, $26.99, 2 DVDs, includes the documentary “The Allure and Charm of Dan DeCarlo: The Man and His Art”. Good for them! He’s the reason the characters are still so fresh.

This is the series, by the way, where a young Cheryl Ladd did Melody’s singing voice.
