I was the basis for the original character of Pepper in Josie and the Pussycats. I grew up with Dan DeCarlo Jr, and his brother, ‘ Jimmy’. Dan and I were inseparable throughout high school and lifelong friends, his family became my family and my family, his family. I am still close to Josie, Dan Sr’s wife.

DeCarlo is referred to as the creator on the actual box art, so I’m hoping for the best (but expecting the worst) from the documentary on the DVD.
