Pittsburgh Comic-Con Owner Arrested for Murder

This is a shocking story… Michael George, owner of the Comics World comic book store in Pennsylvania, has been arrested for the murder of his then-wife in 1990. They had owned a store near Detroit, Michigan, and she was killed in the back room. Reportedly, she had been planning a surprise party for his 30th birthday.

The allegations quickly get sordid. Officials say that there were suspicions of his infidelity, and his current wife Renee was an employee at the store at the time.

The couple run the Pittsburgh Comicon, whose 15th anniversary show is scheduled for next April. Comic Book Resources has a detailed writeup with more information.
