Or perhaps some of the creators felt that the original agreement was still fair, and DC disagreed. We don't know. But I do hope we still see these books in the future. Carrot (moreso than the upcoming miniseries, given it's a follow-up to the "Teen Titans" Alley-Kat-Abra-as-some-speciesist-killer junk, though I'll wait until others comment on it to see if this is reversed somehow before I'm willing to buy it...).
