Mushroom Soup like Hot and Sour Soup?

Or Mushroom Soup more like French Onion Soup?

Actually, I have had one that is basically Beef Broth enriched with some mushrooms, to take it to the brothy extreme. But I can't find a recipe. (Maybe just don't puree the second. Might come close.)
