The constancy is supposed to come from the administration/organizers, as I understand it. It’s an interesting question. I’d love to hear more viewpoints.

Out of curiousity, and this is more of a general question: Why are there never any repeat judges from year to year on these things? Different perspectives might bring a different kind of nomination, I understand. But I would think some constant barometer might be helpful.

Either way, this one in particular is a good awards concept, and not because it involves my old pal Rich Watson.
