Marvel Readership Survey & Sweepstakes

In the past couple of weeks, Marvel has been inserting reader surveys in random copies of their comics. (Here’s a post about the results of a similar DC effort from last decade.) KC found one in Penance: Relentless #3, so he brought it home for me.
Marvel wants to know about the following topics:
- How many issues you read, how often you read them, how much time you spend, and how many other people read them
- The usual demographics (age, race, sex, household makeup, income)
- And then questions about whether you own or are planning on buying items in the following categories (obviously, products that Marvel wants to attract advertisers for)
- Cars
- Video games
- Consumer electronics
- Cellphones
- Jeans
- Shoes
- Fast food
- Sports drinks
As an incentive for filling out the survey, those who return it (in a postage-paid envelope) can also enter a sweepstakes to win an Xbox 360 or a 12-issue subscription to Ultimate Spider-Man.
However, anyone can enter the sweepstakes without filling out the survey by sending a 3×5 card with their hand-printed name, address, phone number, and age to Marvel 2007 Reader Survey Sweepstakes, PO Box 698, Dana Point, CA 92629-0698 by the end of the year. Valid in the US only. One entry per person.
Considerately, they also have a method for requesting a replacement comic if the survey insertion damaged it.
