Peter David? Angry at disagreement? You must be talking about someone else, because that’s not been my experience. He doesn’t suffer fools gladly, though. Not that I think you’re a fool, but without seeing the context, I’m on his side. :)

He does seem to be very quick to anger when people disagree with him. I made the mistake of challenging some of his more anger-induced blog posts and the response was more anger still. I’ve done my best to respond with equal vitriol, though.

It wasn’t about length of service — it was because Mr. David let me know he’d appreciate it if I gave it one more try, since this issue was much more like what I was asking for. I appreciated the tip and told him I would. I’m sorry that it’s not working for me still, but I think with this issue, it’s much more me than it. (It helped that he didn’t tell me I was wrong and was very polite about the whole thing. Experience likely affected that approach.)

Johanna, I was even surprised you looked at She-Hulk 24 after panning the previous issues. So I was even more shocked when you admitted reviewing it after Peter David asked you to give it another try. Would you do the same for some newbie creator, or is this a courtesy you extend to someone like PAD who (admittedly) has a long-standing and respected track record as a creator? This isn’t me playing “gotcha”–I’m genuinely curious.
