Er and by that I mean design, I dislike popups, not the people who post there as opposed to here.

Well you did expose me to a new site with Savage Critics. When I'm curious to read a take on a single issue, outside of the bias certain forums have for or against a book, I usually skim through there now.

It'll be nice to have most of your reviews in one place though. Especially since I prefer this comment area to SC's one.

Sorry to hear that, Johanna.
I read Savage Critics everyday via my Google RSS Reader. Don't worry, though, Comics Worth Reading is on the Blogroll, too.
Best,
Chris

It's true, I was having a hard time figuring out what fit better there than here, since I have such a wide-ranging outlet with this site. And yes, I just couldn't keep up with the superhero comics weekly -- I'd stack them up until I was either in the right mood or told myself I just had to get through them. There are some superhero comics I still like (as seen by my recent Marvel coverage), but out of three weeks, I didn't see a DC comic I wanted to talk about. Plus, there's the whole rating scale, which has never been the way I look at things. Thanks for the sympathy; some good analysis you've done as your reading habits have changed.

Let's face it- to review comics on a weekly basis, you have to be interested in...weekly comics. Which really means superhero comics, since manga's more of a quarterly thing. And since your desire to read superheroes has dropped, I'm not surprised to see you having problems with Savage's review format.

Either way, I know I'll see reviews of the stuff you really like here. And isn't that what's important?

To be fair, my blog has been on the fritz for a while. Reviewing books on a weekly or monthly basis just got difficult when I started to read differently. I can't really review 10-15 books a month if I'm going to be reading Lone Wolf and Cub at the same time. I like long, sprawling epics, and that means I have to rethink the review format. So I can understand what you're going through.
