Noted about updating our pages - we're on it! :)

Kids read manga-styled Sonic and Sabrina comics from Archie in the 32-page format - we expect our core audience to be a crossover sampling of that readership.

Hi, Paul. Thanks for stopping by with more information. If the knock-kneed robot has been upgraded, don't worry about my site -- update your sample pages. :)

Do more kids read flimsy 32-pagers than manga collections these days? I guess the shorter, cheaper edition may be an easier impulse sale to parents.

We know that neither our content nor our distributor is the norm for direct market comic shops, and that puts us firmly in the "underdog" category.

In a week when the NY Giants can beat an undefeated team to win the Super Bowl, and an Arkansas governor whose presidential campaign was declared dead can make significant gains on Super Tuesday, we're willing to don the garb of a shepherd boy and see what God has in store for us. :)

Hi Johanna - actually that knock-kneed robot was dismantled - the page you show has been totally redone. I can send you the new page to replace it with if you like. :)

As for the format, we wrestled with that question, but since we're trying to reach kids first, we decided to go with a traditional Archie format (no surprise given my background). Paperback collections in standard formate may follow later.

Thank you for featuring us,

Lord, save us from our good intentions.

This has all the hallmarks of a train wreck about to happen. I checked out the sample pages online and think it looks more Archies than manga. In fact, David eeriely reminds me of Jughead. Nonetheless, I'll read through the first issue to see what they're trying to do.

Plus, the cover is a nice homage to Frazetta. (Again, not a manga artist)
