You can enter anonymously if you want. Given the clubhouse atmosphere and not wanting to hurt the feelings of some retailers, that might be a good idea. Although isn’t that sad? I don’t worry what the manager thinks at Starbucks or Barnes & Noble when I fill out a customer service survey. Then again, those stores have lots of employees and don’t pride themselves on knowing me by name when I enter. And they aren’t likely to stop selling me things if they don’t like what I say.
