I’m glad to hear that it got clearer and more focused in the second half. I tried to read it, but the first half was so scattershot and in places confusing that I lost interest.

The splash page of Nicori decked out for battle is great. It’s one of the best uses for a sewing kit I’ve seen.

I love it when two comics have an unintentional synchronicity.

Great analysis, Ed. You put into words several things about the book I noticed but wasn’t clear on.

I thought it was going to be typical shojo magical creature stuff, but I was surprised when it kind of turned into Mouse Guard there at the end.
