Let us know how you like Marvel Ultimate Alliance, because that was the Wii game I was going to recommend as well. I like it a lot, and my video gaming experience is limited to MarioLand 2 for the GameBoy, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart for N64, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the Wii.

In Marvel Ultimate Alliance you can play Iron Man, although there are several other characters I like much more.

Who doesn’t put cheese on hot dogs and cream cheese in eggs? (Seriously. Cheez Whiz on hot dogs is common in New England, and cream cheese in eggs is a long standing restaurant trick to keep them soft on a buffet.)

I’m going to have to be careful, I can tell. I’m already feeling the time I spent playing DDR in my legs and shoulder. But I just picked up Cooking Mama and Marvel Ultimate Alliance used for some variety, thanks to all your recommendations.

Highly recommend Wii Fit. We just got it (for once we got a videogame being sold in Australia before they sell it in the US). And it really is a lot of fun. Might I also recommend Boom Blox (puzzle game)? spent something like three hours straight playing it instead of cooking dinner…

There’s also gamefly.com, which is NetFlix for video games.

Also, the Iron Man game is not worth it. It’s kind of a one trick pony, but the pony is a little behind the curve already. You never get the sense of speed that an Iron Man game needs.

And don’t forget the new Nintendo Channel, which gives you game trailers and, even better, the ability to shoot game demos over to your Nintendo DS, if you have one of those.

Wii Fit looks really cool and is sold out on pre-order just about everywhere already.

I’m a Guitar Hero III and Link’s Crossbow Training game addict right now.

You can’t go wrong with Super Mario Galaxy and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, if you want some very, very solid gaming experiences. They’re absolutely amazing.

Since you’re doing more of the activity type stuff, you might enjoy Cooking Mama and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves as they’re quick to pick up and play.

The DDR Options menu is hidden in the song select. My wife and I play it a couple times a month when we’re too lazy (or it’s too hot) to go outside and walk.

I highly recommend turning off all of the hand stuff, and just playing it with just the dancing around. Less face punching happens that way.

Install the browser and it does. In fact, couch-based web browsing is all I use the Wii for at this point… like a lotta people, I bought it, played Wii Sports like a madman, and then completely lost interest.

I’m not a video game fan, but I played the drums controller for Rock Band before Christmas in the stores. I didn’t want to get off it, it was so FUN!! But there was a big line of kids waiting to get on it before me.:)

Let me know how you enjoy the Wii! There is a line up the blocks game at one of the local malls. Previously I’ve won Video Ipods out of it, now I’m thinking about going for either a Wii or Ipod Touch that just got put in it. (actually a girl wants the WII, but I figure if I win it and bring it home…. well lol)

My fiancee and I got our Wii about a year ago, and we absolutely love it. Her favorites are shooter games (the Wii zapper with accompanying Link’s Crossbow Training game is a great value). Resident Evil 4 and the Umbrella Chronicles are grotesque fun.

We’ve got Guitar Hero III, but my better half refuses to play in front of me.

Also recommended: Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree and My Word Coach.

I’ll ‘fess up: my favorite game is probably Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I was never a video-game guy. I hate those button-mashing interfaces with the Playstations and Xboxes that dominated the industry for so long. But the Wii is fantastic.
