Actually, Wii Boxing is a weird anomaly of impossible that doesn't reflect the physical movements you make, it makes me want to, uh, punch the screen. Ultimate Alliance's learning curve is totally different, and more normal. And I just got Wii Fit yesterday, it's superb, even though it kind of called me fat. But yeah, one person at a time, unless you're doing the running thing I think.

Well, whatever you're doing will probably also serve you well at Wii golfing. (I say that only because whatever I'm doing, which is clearly different from you, makes me just about the world's worst Wii golfer.)

I still haven't gotten a chance to play the Marvel game. (I'm afraid of the learning curve -- I just boxed my first game two days ago, and the whole fighting thing I need a lot more practice on.) One of the girls at work got WiiFit, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Said it was great for the core.

Nat, I have gotten the occasional strike, but with the hook, I'm lousy at picking up spares.

I can't get rid of my hook... and I don't wanna. To really slam the pins takes a good hook. The trick is to know where your hook is going. WiiBowled a 240 last week. (Wish I could claim that was typical rather than an outlier.)

I always closed my eyes right before releasing the "ball." I achieved pro status after a month or two. :)

The games that will really shred your shoulder are the Wii Baseball (home run hitting) and boxing.

WiiFit is out this week. We're considering picking it up (though it appears to be a one player at a time thing).

So, what did you think of Marvel Ultimate Alliance?

Thanks for not considering it pretentious. :) I thought it was funny that "don't look at it" was the secret. Sounds sort of Caddyshack-ish.
