Michael George Murder Conviction Upheld

As I mentioned last month, Michael George’s attorneys had filed a motion to set aside the jury verdict finding him guilty of his wife’s murder 18 years ago. Today, the judge upheld the conviction. George will now serve life in prison without parole for “first-degree murder, felony firearm, insurance fraud, and obtaining money from an insurance agency under false pretenses.” Dateline NBC ran a two-hour special on the case on May 9.
