Wanna see a free video series about a boy who wants to be a superhero? Check out Captain Blasto. It was originally made as a feature-length film several years ago, but now it’s available in five-minute snippets on the web, updated weekly. I’m impressed by what fans like this can do, given modern technology, and I loved the old-fashioned touches of nostalgia in the introduction: radio shows on record, faux-TV Guide covers, and the like.
