John, yes, there are definitely changes happening at Torchwood. More I will not say, but it’s covered in that season set.

I’m an inordinate fan of Madagascar and plan on checking out the sequel. I lived with a three year old for a while and got used to watching it on a biweekly basis. I’ll probably end up checking that one out, but your mileage may vary.

Reading that they had interviewed several Jimmy Olsens and several Lois Lanes, I realized that they won’t be able to specifically interview several Supermans from the movies, but would have to turn to voice actors after interviewing Brandon Roush. The same for Perry Whites. Sad.

I usually ignore my birthdays, but with both Chuck and Torchwood coming out on my day, I think this year is a must celebrate.

Maybe I’ll ask for cash this year? :0)

Unfortunately, I hear (from Doctor Who Monthly) that Torchwood is undergoing changes, and when it returns in 2009, only Capt. Jack is confirmed. It may have something to do with the Doctor Who season finale which I haven’t seen, so no spoilers please!

David, but other than the two you mention and the Love Guru (shudder), what do they have coming out?

James, I’d probably trying watching the LSH episode… but with that and the Justice League, the show has really gotten away from the “no flights, no tights” thing, hasn’t it?

I’ve ended up watching much of Big Bang Theory, and still find that it doesn’t work for me… except when they have Sara Gilbert appear. Don’t know if her and Galecki were born for chemistry, or merely that their years working together make them good fits, but for whatever reason, the show is watchable with her and sings when it is just them.
The good news is that Sara is going to be a regular this season.

Oh and one more thing, dead on about Big Bang Theory. When I first saw the premiere episode I hated it. I disliked the second and third episodes as well. Yet darn it I was sitting there after the writer’s striked watching and about middle way through an episode I went “Dang, when did I start loving this show?”

They did this a few seasons ago with various actresses that played Lois Lane. I didn’t see any of this season so I kind of want to see what they did with Kara.

This season should be odd, with the actors who played Lex and Lana having turned down returning in regular roles. (apparently they did say they’d appear in a limited one)

Oh and the LSH are appearing in an episode, written by Geoff Johns though.

Ha! I just got Paramount’s list, which includes Iron Man and Transformers and was thinking about doing a similar post. I’m not on Warner’s list, though, because I haven’t been able to find the correct contact.

I would totally buy that Charlie Brown collection, too. Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes are essential reading/viewing.
