I really loved the series! I agree with you on some points but with some others I have to disagree, especially the part about Kiri being home alone in Vol.9. That's actually my second favorite part of the entire series (the first being the end of the series right before the epilogue when Kiri leaves and her and Naru-Naru are talking at the airport). I really loved the art in the series as well and I don't think it lost it's originality later on in the series but oh well, to each his I guess. That's just my opinion.

Johanna Says: "...I had to force myself to finish reading it; as a result, I’m no longer interested in this series. (A complimentary copy for this review was provided by the publisher.)"

Sunfire Says: "And if you don’t like love storys then why do you read shojo beat?"

Looks like someone's unclear on the concept of [insert name of art format] critic columnists.

omg That is terrible I love this seris i am soooo hooked!!!!!! It is not boring. Sure it is the same plot line as most books, but Kiri and Narumi go about it in different ways than other do. their story is unique even if the general idea isn't!

I like love stories. I like GOOD love stories, like Mars or Kare First Love, to name a couple. There are plenty of them out there, so why settle for something that's "nothing special"?

pretty harsh, huh? but some of the points i totally get
like the part about it becoming too traditional - like the love triangle. i'm so sick of love triangles in shojo manga loll
but the part about Kiri being scared during the night was desperately needed for the series - she NEVER shows emotion...ever...and there needed to be a scene that when she does, she's with narumi (in my opinion)
the art is pretty plain compared to like, Arina Tanemura's art, but the humor supersedes that

Meh. I think the art is Cute. And the previous Volume was pretty big on Drama, with the whole reveal of Narumi's dad being a jerk revealed.
Your fogetting-
The Series is Shojo AND Comedy
Kiri has touched Narumi before, and broken out in rash. But, Narumi is becoming a tad more tolerant of Kiri, so, the rash goes away.

And, I think the art is rather cute, but, Personal Taste =/= fact.
