KC,

I have to disagree here. I and my nephew really enjoyed this film. He didn't get all the pop references, but he loved the animation and a lot of the slapstick.

The original Chuck Jones cartoon is flawless and a true classic. However, I think this film did a good job expanding and playing with the original story. I like the subplot with the son. I also like the mayor and his managment style. Overall, it's a nice, very light kids film.
