What Defines Adult? The Hole: Consumer Culture

The Hole: Consumer Culture, “a science fiction horror story about the buying of selling of race in America [and] the simultaneous worship and degradation of African Americans in popular culture”, is being solicited in the current issue of Previews. However, at Diamond’s decision, it was moved to the Adult Section. If you’re not porn (and a certain kind of big-breasted porn), this is not a recipe for success. So the creators of the graphic novel, artist John Jennings and writer Damian Duffy, put together a comic strip in response. (Click to see full size.)
