Happy happy news! Christopher Titus, my favorite comedian, has a new special out on DVD for Valentine’s Day.

Love Is Evol actually comes out on February 17, covering “dating, marriage, and divorce”. The special will air on Comedy Central on February 14, but the DVD has an additional 40 minutes of standup.

Now, will someone PLEASE release Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding on DVD?

It’s weird to me that so much of his old stand-up act, and especially so much of his sitcom (which I loved) was about this amazing relationship he had with his wife, how she helped convince him it’s possible to have a marriage without dysfunction, etc. — and now they’re divorced and a lot of his act is apparently about him taking shots at his ex.

Obviously, relationships change and sometimes the fairy tale ending turns sour, but I’m almost afraid to go back and watch my “Titus” DVDs now.

Oh, damn. I saw the writeup mentioning divorce, but I was hoping he was just talking about it, not that it was autobiographical. I’m really sorry to hear that.

It is about his breakup with his wife. I saw him to this standup in july, its hilarious. But yea its about his wife and how love screws with you.

Hes a cool guy and according to him, he will have another tv show soon (not sure since he said that in july).
