Middleman DVD Confirmed!

Well, that’s a pick-me-up. Writer/producer Javier Grillo-Marxuach has posted that a Middleman DVD set is officially in production, due out this summer! It’s from Shout Factory, which does very nice fan-friendly productions with lots of bonus features.

That’s what fans were hoping for, since good sales of the DVD would mean a chance for the delightfully entertaining show to return. If you’ve ever trusted any of my recommendations, please, buy this set. With plenty of extras and the original 12 episodes, you’ll enjoy it, and I’d really like to see more of the show.

As I’ve made it clear in the past, I’m a big fan of the show. I’m definitely onboard for this DVD set and I hope it’s an indication of a second season for the show.

My hopes for future seasons are guarded, since Dubbie’s boyfriend Tyler has already landed himself a steady gig on the new FOX hyper-observant detective series Lie to Me.

Well, given that the various cast members of Battlestar Galactica seemed to be on every show shot in Canada for the last two years (including Starbuck’s recurring role on Bionic Woman), Tyler could probably do double duty if he wanted.

I can assure you that Shout Factory has done a wonderful job on the DVD’s of theirs which I have bought (The Super Mario Brothers’ Super Show and the MST3K 20th Anniversary Box Set). I’m sure The Middleman disk(s) will not dissapoint.

I doubt it will be there again. they have said that there are no more episodes, because they decided to cancel. to dave rose, i am a big fan too. I weep whenever I think of such an epic show, LOST! (not the show lost but the actual show Middleman being lost!) AUGH!
