Jane Irwin, talented cartoonist and author of Vogelein and Clockwork Game, also makes steampunk-influenced jewelry. (Which turns out to be quite an adventure when you’re talking about old watch faces.) I was lucky enough to get one of her barrettes, as shown here.
I just wanted to show it off and have another excuse to send you to read her great comics. If you’d like to see more of her craftwork, catch her at a show.

Yeah, it was a real “Bill Nye” moment with the guy down the hall with his geiger counter going “clik-clik-clik” over a pile of watch parts. Luckily, it wasn’t killer levels, but I’m proud of Jane for taking the level of responsibility that she did.
