I'd call them and say you want to cancel and get a refund for the unused part of your subscription.

I just got Anime Insider 67 this week and that appears to be the last issue. So what happens to the six months I still have left on my subscription? Wizard is not an acceptable substitute by any means/standard.

Because a former comic writer talks too much, you think magazines that interview him should be cancelled? At best, you can maybe make an argument for tighter editing based on that.

Firefly, I'd normally agree with you about Back Issue!, but the recent 2-part Steve Skeates interview printed in both Back Issue! and Alter Ego begs for both to be cancelled. Each paragraph of Skeates's replies is overwrought, overwritten crap. No wonder he couldn't get work for the longest time.

I still find it odd that Wizard went to the effort to state that WWLA was "postponed" while WWTX was canceled, yet not making any effort to clarify whether that meant "We're skipping 2009 but will bring it back next year" or "We're rescheduling for later in the year, more details to come," or just "We're canceling it for now, but it'll be the first con we restart once the economy clears up."

I hope The Comics Journal and Comic Art can keep publishing in the current economy. Losing either one would be like losing a limb.
