Superhero Cufflinks

So, fanboy, you’re all dressed up, ready to attend the opening of the Wolverine movie (official title: X-Men Origins: Wolverine), but you just can’t find the right finishing touch for your outfit?

Cufflinks.com wants to help you out. For only $50, you can get these baubles, styled after the original comic hero. Unfortunately, that means they’re in primary colors, instead of the black and silver modern superheroes prefer.
That’s ok, there are plenty of other options, including two Spider-Man choices, snazzy mini Captain America shields, a variety of Superman or Batman logos, and even Green Lantern. (Please avoid the incredibly tacky rhinestone S-shields.) The Marvel choices are slightly cheaper than DC (which start at $65), if that means anything. Too bad few people have shirts with French cuffs any more. This is a low-key, distinctive way to show your comic fandom.

Sweet. I love cuff links. I probably don’t get to spiff up as often as I like (Seattle is far too casual sometimes) but whenever I do, it’s French cuffs all the way. Thanks for the tip!

Gee, I love how the Flash cufflinks are labeled as Flash Gordon.
*headdesk*
Dear Intarweb: Please repeat after me: “Flash Gordon does not have super-speed.” Now write it 100 times, using a pen or a pencil, not just copy-and-paste 100 times.
*sigh*

These are fantastic! My wife gave me a pair of Superman cufflinks when we got married.
Joe Biden makes a point of wearing French cuffs. Perhaps the company should send him a few pair…

I noticed that, Kelson, but I couldn’t think of anything funny to say about it. Thanks for helping out!

I’ve got a set of Superman cufflinks too–man, I miss the Warner Brothers Studio Stores for those sorts of things.
I’d seen these in PREVIEWS a while back. Since I have an occasional penchant for bow ties and cufflinks, maybe I should investigate getting a set…
I keep telling folk that men’s apparel and jewelry is under-represented in licensing. Maybe someday they’ll believe me ;-)

Very true! But you know what’s really under-represented? Women’s jewelry! Wouldn’t a set of Captain American shields make terrific earrings? Then there are all the Legion logos…
