Joumana Medlej is a Lebanese artist writing a fantasy superhero series about a woman born to end a war in Lebanon called Malaak: Angel of Peace. It starts with simple cartooning, but by the latest pages, the artist is experimenting with different techniques, coloring, and confidence.
