KC’s latest Westfield column covers advice on planning convention panels. You may not have the opportunity to take on the activity yourself, but he makes a lot of good points about what goes into setting up enjoyable programming, as well as the pitfalls faced and the obstacles that must be overcome.

KC,
That was great. I learned a lot. Now you need to write a column on what it takes to be a good panelist.

Great column KC! I found myself nodding at the opening about being shy or something with creators at the cons but loving panels.
I’ve never been one that brought a ton of stuff to be signed. (usually maybe 1 or 2 books) And I didn’t really know what to say when I was up there for the 1 minute it took to have the stuff signed. Plus I’d feel bad if there was even one person behind me, feeling like I was holding things up.
