And yes, Alan Rickman was awesome. When he finally says the "By Grabthar's Hammer" line, he manages to make it sound not cheesy. An incredible accomplishment, in my book. (Also, for some reason I think the creators were inspired by a Duck Tales episode that had pretty much the same premise.) I absolutely love this movie. And yes, Alan Rickman was awesome. I was expecting it to be lame but it was genuinely funny for a relative non trekkie like myself. It's what Spaceballs was to Star Wars. I would argue that Galaxy Quest is a superior parody. Sigourney Weaver was funny and also looked pretty hot considering I'd only really seen her in Aliens movies. Apparently at one point they wanted to use the original star trek class but they picked a great cast. Allen is funny and Rickman is brilliant as usual.
