CD Art Celebrates Mad Magazine

Wow, I’d forgotten how ubiquitous those promo discs used to be.
This picture ran in Mad magazine #500 (out in April, beginning its new quarterly schedule). The image of Alfred E. Neuman’s head was constructed from about 2,000 junk mail CDs and DVDs laid out in a parking lot. Here’s more information in an AP article on Yahoo! News.
