Announcing the Asian American Comic Con

Found out about this at MoCCA — The first annual Asian American Comic Con will be held July 11 at the Museum of Chinese in America in New York City. (That’s MOCA, not to be confused with the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, also in NYC.)
Featured guests include Bernard Chang, Fred Chao, Cliff Chiang, Sean Chen, Derek Kirk Kim, Greg Pak, and Christine Norrie. Three workshop tracks will cover Reading Comics, Making Comics, and Creator Spotlight, and a Special Achievement Award will be presented to Larry Hama. My best wishes to the effort, and I hope it goes well!

Is this Asian American Comic-Con Limited to Pacific rim countries, or does it include people from other parts of Asia? There is a ground breaking (award winning) Persian Mythology Comic Book publish on the West Coast called “Rostam”. Check them out at:
