Let me clarify--Jill Thompson is very talented and does her style of work very well. It is just not something I enjoy. That's why I can wish her well and success even if I won't be buying her work.

...and for adults of all ages! (except Argo, I guess)

I personally have never been a big Jill Thompson fan--something about her style just doesn't click for me. And her writing is a little to saccharine for me. I have tried just about everything she has done and it's all OK.

However, I firmly believe the industry needs more creators like her and products like this. It may not be my cup of tea, but well done stories that can appeal to all ages in formats that exist beyond the 32 pg floppy are necessary for the future of the industry we all love so much. I hope Jill continues to produce stuff like this for years to come.
